This was the first official track recorded for the Dorsal Fin project in July 1996. The concept was a straight forward idea that was influenced by the thriving Rave-techno movement of the 1990's. My interest in the genre was driven by my affection for the Hypnotics Record label compilations that was a division of Caroline Records. This was a project that was one of those rare events that an artist connects with. The vibe was right and apparently Caroline Records had enough faith in me with this project that I got through the first gate that they offered for submissions to get on the Hypnotics label which was my initial goal. By the end of Summer 1996 I had an infrequent yet working relationship with Hypnotics who said that they "were interested in following my development". Yeah!
